Let's start with resources
My aim for this blog is to be useful for readers looking for dating advice and resources so to start with the right foot I am going to include a categorized list of most, at least the most important ones, dating/advice websites on the web. So without further delay the links:
For Men,
Fast Seduction http://www.fastseduction.com/ this website is the most comprehensive site that I have looked for pick ups and meeting women. Not much relationship advice (as a matter of fact they give you advice on how to make a girl "forget" she has a boyfriend for a quick liaison). I think the website makes some very valid points and is a worthwhile read. Some of the advice is questionable like the "boyfriend buster" advice or the NLP techniques (I admit I never tried them, but I can't repeat the lines the authors advice to tell girls without bursting in laughter, to be fair though, the NLP techniques must have worked for some people or else they would not be there) Nevertheless, the website contains articles from different authors providing some useful perspective. This is should be your first read if interested in the opposite sex. They even include a registry for players, AFC (average frustrated chumps), etc, in which they can contact each other through e-mail and if they are in the same city go practice the techniques they have learned in the field.
High Status Male http://www.highstatusmale.com/ this is an interesting website, it doesn't necessarily focus on telling you of approaches or how to do this or such, but rather it gives the reader some insights on human behavior. The author has some good points explaining how being powerful, or having an air of power, will help the reader's chances meeting women. I particularly liked the article "You became a social coward by accident" because it gave a reason on why some people are "naturals" while others remain completely clueless.
Double Your Dating http://www.doubleyourdating.com/ the author's mantra is "Cocky, Funny, and don't be a wuss!" He explains that most males who fail with women are usually "nice guys" (all the authors emphasize that point, see AFC above) who give power to women too easily by catering to their every whim. This makes the potential suitor boring since he is not being a challenge. The author sends a regular e-mail to subscribers answering questions.
Become a Player http://www.becomeaplayer.com/ although it does not include as many authors as "fastseduction.com" it has plenty of articles regarding dating, approaches, body language, etc. Ok website but not too much original information, in fairness to them, most of this info repeats itself in many dating advice websites.
Seduction Insider http://www.seductioninsider.com/ this website is very comprehensive and I find it a little more interesting than become a player's website. It has articles, quizzes and other interesting reads that complement any good self-improvement program.
Pick up Guide http://www.pickupguide.com/ this website discusses some techniques and approaches that the author has and is currently experiencing. The author gives funny anecdotes and detailed descriptions of his adventures in Japan and gives the reader pointers on what to do and what to look for while approaching women. The aforementioned websites provide good resources for men looking to meet more women. I think their real strength is that they make the reader want to take action, even if he does not agree with all the concepts. The FastSeduction Website actually has a registry for players (or player's in training to meet) and go on hunting expeditions. For relationships there are many websites offering relationship advice of general sorts. This are the most useful (of course is my opinion) feel free to add as many as you wish
Men's Health http://www.menshealth.com/ usually very informative it has many articles ranging that appeal to single men to married men with 2 kids and a mortgage. Well laid out sections. They have an UK version of the magazine with different articles.
Ask Men http://www.askmen.com/ this is one of my favorite websites as it provides many articles ranging from spiritualism, money and power to sex advice. There are articles written by "Doc Love" who regularly answer questions for readers regarding relationships. Most of the advice is common sense and I would say a bit cynical, however sometimes people need tough love in order to realize the errors of their ways.
For women
Cosmopolitan http://www.cosmomag.com/ the very omnipresent cosmopolitan magazine. Articles like "he is not that into you, nonsense! Ways to change his mind" or "learn to read his mind" makes this magazine a good resource for women, and for guys trying to gain a little inside information.
Latina Magazine http://www.latina.com/ Online Magazine for Latina woman (no news there) it provides useful advice for dating, sex, relationships (etc.) The relationship advice is focused on Latin men and some cross cultural relationships.
Lady Fire http://www.ladyfire.com/ this webzine gives the reader advice on relationships, dating, sex, and apparently recipes (interesting combo). From what I have read it gives information on an assortment of topics (money, art, literature, etc) with a 'new age' writing style.
Commitment http://www.committment.com/ this web magazine focus on well ... commitment, not only to relationships though but to self-growth, body and mind, etc. Since we are interested in the relationship aspect of the magazine, it does provide many articles on dating and keeping the loved one interested in the long term relationship or possible marriage.
O Magazine http://www.oprah.com/ this magazine is built around a woman who is currently a cultural icon. The Magazine has articles on an assortment on issues, including relationships.
Heartless Bitches International http://www.heartless-bitches.com/ this website is pretty funny (even for my perspective) definitely a good read. Talk about disgruntled this is taking it up a notch.
I found this list on a yahoo directory, if you have a online magazine that you would recommend please let me know so I can add it to the list.
For Gay and Lesbian
I can find info on the web but I prefer if there are recommendations to add to this list (please include review) I would try to add things to this area as I continue with my research.
I have created a board where members can share their oppinion or seek advice on different topics. I built up different topics, and I would like anyone to contribute and express their ideas (as well as to create new boards) the website is http://datingjungle.proboards43.com
